Mark Simmons in the International Fleet Review



        The novel From the Foam of the Sea has been gaining wide acclaim and attention in the United Kingdom and elsewhere. Most recently Mark Simmons, the author, was featured in the International Fleet Review, published in England. From the Foam of the Sea is available from The Raider Bookshop and wherever fine books are sold.

Kathy Mescall on Turkish TV

Author Kathy Mescall will be interviewed on the Turkish TV Station
Kocaeli 41 on September 2nd, 2008 12:00-2:00 pm (local time). She will be talking about her new book Lost and Found and her future projects.

John Holt in Hertfordshire Life

The Kammersee Affair By John Holt has generated some local buzz in central England. The book was recently featured as one of the books of the week in Hertfordshire Life (see below) and John has been keeping busy with his latest book The MacKenzie File, which is set to be released by Raider Publishing International in September.



Annette Lawrence Tours the UK to wide acclaim

Raider Author Annette Lawrence kept busy this summer by touring around the UK doing signings in a number of cities all over the country. She has received a warm reception by both readers and critics, including several write-ups in various newspapers and magazines (see below). Annette can be heard on The Author's Corner this fall on the Raider Broadcasting Network.

The Raider Literary Magazine to Launch September 8th, 2008

        Raider Publishing is launching a quarterly literary magazine that will be available through over 25,000 retailers all of the world and on selected newsstands. The first issue, featuring three author interviews and a special section on Africa can be read now at www.RaiderMag.com.


The Raider Broadcasting Network Claims listeners in Sixty Different Countries

        RBN's first season of shows was widely accepted and listened to by listeners all over the world. Based on a July 2008 report, people in 63 different countries were listening to the Raider Broadcasting Network. With thousands of authors and readers listenting every week, the new season, starting September 7th, is being looked forward to by many.


Raider Publishing International Pens deal with Exclusive Books

        
In August 2008 Raider Publishing International proudly added Exclusive Books in South Africa as a distribution partner. From September onwards, all new Raider Publishing titles will be available through Exclusive Books.


WHSmith's (UK) picks up option to carry Raider Publishing titles

        
  As of July 2008, WHSmith's with hundreds of stores in the UK and Ireland have decided to carry all Raider Publishing titles as the result of a new landmark agreement between the two companies. Executives at both RPI and WHSmith's were excited about the new agreement, which includes all future Raider Publishing International releases through 2012.

 
Raider Publishing in talks with NZ Distributor


         
RPI is currently in talks with an large NZ distributor that can not be publicly disclosed at this time. If the deal is successful, selected Raider Books would be available on the shelf throughout Australia and New Zealand. Negotiations are underway and talks should be concluded by the end of September.
